Getting Started

How do I get started?

Just follow the signup proocess, enter some assets or documents and add a trustee or executor. Your Executor is the person whom your EndPlan gets released to. This could be your spouse, family member or trusted friend.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Endplan today is fully online and does not require any software to be installed. This allows Endplan to securely encrypt your data and make sure it is never hacked. Remeber Endplan never, ever has access to your assets so we can never touch it or move it and we will never ever request access.

Why must I login every 30 days?

This is a security feature. We require this so that in the case of an unexpected event, illness or death, that your Endplan is released to your Executor in a timely manner.

Why Endplan

Why do I need Endplan now?

Your assets are scattered across multiple custodians. It is becoming increasingly complex to keep track of them and ensure safe transfer to the family in case of an eventuality.

It is no longer just stocks, bonds and real estate spread across multiple places. Assets like crypto, private investments, foreign investments, loans to family/friends, collectibles, precious metals, domain names, trademarks & other digital assets also have need to be tracked.

How does Endplan transfer my assets to my family or beneficiaries?

In EndPlan, you can add a contact as your executor e.g your spouse.

EndPlan has a “living login” check. If you are inactive for a certain number of days and don’t respond to EndPlan's attempts to reach you, a mail with all your information in downloadable format (Excel & ZIP) will be sent to the Beneficiary.

A fall back contact (Trusted Angel), who you trust to help out in difficult times, can also be optionally nominated to receive this mail, in case the Beneficiary fails to respond even after multiple reminders.

Why can't I just use Excel or Google Sheets?

On the surface, Excel (or Google sheets) seems like a pretty simple program without much of a learning curve. Just enter the data into rows and columns and you can look it over at any time. Google Sheets has also the advantage of sharing features so others can access the same information if you allow them to. But in order to make the best use of Excel or Google Sheets as a financial planner, you need to learn how to use formulas - from simple summing up to pretty complex ones if you want automatic updates.

I already have a will, why do I need Endplan as well?

Wills and Trusts are legal documents. Their primary objective is to be enforceable in a court of law. They are not supposed to be “live documents” and well suited for a system of record. Updating them is cumbersome. You drown in legalese. You avoid the pain of updating them. This gives you a false sense of security. Your heirs/beneficiaries will not get the complete picture from your estate planning documents and will spend months trying to find your assets.

EndPlan ensures that nothing falls between the cracks. You are always keeping track of your wealth, and all this information is transferred smoothly. Other critical information like debt and insurance is also available side-by-side.

There is no doubt that estate planning is critical to safeguarding your wealth. But you will still need EndPlan.

What do you do for privacy and security?

We understand that we are storing your sensitive data and protecting it is our highest priority.

By design, our business model is “privacy-friendly”. We charge you a subscription so we don’t have any business motivation to sell your information to 3rd parties or for advertising. Here’s our Privacy Policy.

EndPlan employs the latest Bank-Level Security practices and industry-leading encryption standards.

If you never store my data, then how do you release it to my trusted party?

Since we require at least one trusted party to sign up, we use their unique public key to encrypt your securely stored data. Then when we release your EndPlan to them, they are able to decrypt. Again, with out us ever having access to your private Data.
Remember, the Endplan is a document that lists your assets, liabilities and documents. It does not have access to them, ever.

What is end-to-end encryption?

End-to-end encryption makes the data encrypted or unreadable by the very service or the app you used to create it, because the app simply doesn't hold the keys to decrypt it. It’s only readable by the user who holds the key to decrypt it and no one else. That's you.

What happens if I lose my password?

Today if you lose your password, you will have to contact us at EndPlan to reset it. Since we only store encrypted version of your data, without your password, we cannot acces it. Therefor you will have to re-enter your information.

We are working hard to extend our security to allow you to securely recover your password. Let us know if this is an important feature for you.

We also allow you an easy download option to backup all of your EndPlan offline. This can be considered as an extra security feature in case of a loss of password. You will then be able to easy reupload all of your information.

Can anyone at EndPlan or a hacker look at my data?

No! Never! As user of EndPlan ourselves, we understand that privacy is a key feature of our product offering and will never change that.

Privacy and Data

Do you sell any of my data?

We do not have access to any of your data, ever. Because we can't access it, we can't do anything with it.

We generate our revenue by providing you with the best service possible and having your trust. We will never sacrifice this.

How can I delete my data?

If you login to your EndPlan and delete individual entries these will be removed before encryption happens. Thus it will never even sit in an encrypted format on our servers again.

Also if you chose to delete your account. We never store any of your EndPlan or data.

Are you GDPR Compliant
